Over the course of this intensive, we navigate every stage of transformation, from manuscript to material archive. 

What We'll Build Together

  • Collective Reading & Conceptualization
    Develop the book's identity through shared inquiry, intersectional analysis, and deep reading. What does this text demand to become?
  • The Editor's Eye
    Engage in the communal work of structural editing, line-level revision, and meticulous proofreading. Learn to see as editors see.
  • Architectural Design
    Master the interior typography and cover design that materialize the internal logic of each text. Form follows content; design becomes argument.
  • The Physical Build
    Hand-produce a limited run of 100 unique, numbered copies. Execute the technical binding, assembly, and finishing required to create durable, archive-quality editions.
