Literary Translation

Translation is rewriting. It requires inhabiting the original work from the inside and finding its equivalent life in another tongue.

I translate between Spanish and English in both directions: literary, academic, and cultural work (poetry, fiction, essays, memoir, scholarly manuscripts).

Poetry — $0.25/word

Literary prose: fiction, essays, memoir — $0.15/word

Academic and scholarly writing — $0.15/word

Minimum project: 500 words.
